About Us

The Dallas/Richardson NSA Kids Chapter meets once a month to provide a safe, fun, supportive environment for children who stutter and their families. Currently, meetings are held via Zoom, with in-person meetings held at least twice a year. Meeting people face to face (or screen to screen) is the greatest way for children and teens to know that they are not alone. Meetings are also a place for parents to meet other families for friendship and support.

Each meeting runs for around 1 hour and is led by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (called a "Chapter Leader"). We play games, have talent shows, lead thoughtful discussions, and more! Past themes have included: Halloween pumpkin carving, Jeopardy, and Back to School.

No RSVP is necessary! Follow our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/nsakidsdallasrichardson/) for event postings, pictures, and more.
