Chapter Leaders
We currently have four chapter leaders that help plan and lead each meeting!

Tabitha South
Speech-Language Pathologist
Tabitha has been a speech-language pathologist (SLP) since 2014 and has worked in public schools in North Carolina and in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. During her first year as an SLP, she attended a one-day stuttering conference with two of her students and their families. The positive impacts of connecting with other children who stutter was evident in the lives of her students. In 2019, she began volunteering with NSA Kids Dallas/Richardson. NSA Kids meetings are one of the highlights of her month, and her favorite meeting each year is the talent show! Tabitha enjoys spending time with her family and friends by sharing good meals, watching TV, going on walks, and playing board games.

Linh Tran
Speech-Language Pathologist
Linh went to UT Austin for her Bachelors (Hook 'Em!) and UT Dallas for her Masters. She spent 3 years as a public school SLP and currently works with preschool students.
Linh started working with children who stutter as an undergraduate student clinician and research assistant at the Tami & Lang Stuttering Institute (now the Arthur M. Blank Center for Stuttering and Research), where she learned the importance of empowering her students to stutter openly and confidently. She then became a volunteer for NSAKids Dallas/Richardson in 2019. Her favorite part about meetings is seeing the kids build connections with each other and talk freely in a safe space.
In her free time, she loves eating, reading, and spending time with her fiance.
Sam Fisk
Speech-Language Pathologist
Sam received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. A San Antonio native, she moved to DFW in 2014 and has worked as an SLP in public schools ever since.
When she isn't running after her two young daughters, she enjoys reading, hiking, and playing piano. She loves her profession and is so proud to empower students through communication.
Sam joined her first NSA Kids meeting in 2023 after being invited by one of her students. She immediately loved how welcoming and fun the meetings were and became a chapter leader shortly afterwards.
Her favorite thing about NSA Kids is that it is a great place to be exactly who you are without any pressure or judgement. She is a proud ally to those who stutter!

Abby Carroll
Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Student
Abby is a graduate student in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Texas at Dallas, Callier Center. Abby received her bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University in 2023. She is will be graduating with her masters in Summer of 2025. Abby proudly joined the NSA Kids team in January 2025. Her favorite pokemon is snorlax, and she love legos!
